About Red2Green
Red2Green is a registered charity, No. 1112429, working to increase opportunities in leisure, education and work for people with a wide range of disabilities in Cambridgeshire. We were set up in November 1997 and were originally called Turning the Red Lights Green, although our every day working name is now Red2Green.
Red2Green works with people aged 14+ who have learning disabilities, mental health problems, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, dementia or social communication disorders. We also raise awareness of the potential of people with disabilities to make a positive and valuable contribution to society.
To achieve our aims we run a number of projects, enabling people with disabilities to learn new skills, enjoy a wide range of leisure activities, make new friendships, gain confidence and prepare themselves for employment.
600 people with disabilities attend our projects each week. We have 50 employees, 70 volunteers and a board of 10 trustees.
