Amber
Are you between 16 and 24? Left school and not sure what to do?
Then Red2Green's Amber project could help you get into an apprenticeship or further education and on the road to a good job.
Red2Green's Amber project will help you:
- build a personal development plan
- choose a further education course or apprenticeship
- find employment or volunteering placements so you can try out different jobs and build up your experience of work
- improve your CV and interview skills
- do skills and IT checks so employers can see the real you and your strengths.
Red2Green's Amber project is not like school - you will have the chance to learn in small groups or one-to-one with tutors. We will help you work at your own pace, explore your interests and strengths so you can decide what you want for your future. Most sessions will take place in Red2Green's learning centre in Swaffham Bulbeck and in the Howard Mallet centre in Cambridge (by the Grafton Centre). The Amber project will be run for up to 16 hours a week, the time being made up of group work and practical experience.
And best of all - all your learning is free!
To come on to Red2Green's Amber project you have to:
- be aged between 16 and 24
- be living in Cambridgeshire
- not be in employment, education or training
- have less than five GSCEs (at grades A-C).
