Red2Greenhouse

Red2Greenhouse's sensory garden is a riot of colour. Red2Greenhouse offers a programme of horticultural, education and basic skills courses in which our learners can gain accreditation within the Open College Network.

One of Red2Greenhouse's learners watering the tomatoes. Learners also have the opportunity to gain business skills, through the small business that the programme runs. This involves selling plants, hanging baskets and planters, jams, chutneys and a wide variety of fruit and vegetables.

A learner enjoys the sensory experience of the plants.

We also keep a selection of chickens and learn skills in feeding, egg collecting, and cleaning out, and then sell our eggs to the general public.

Some of our students work with Oddjobbers doing garden maintenance for the general public, such as grass cuttings, fence repairs and car washing.
