Volunteering
Volunteers play a vital role for Red2Green and it is only through their valued support that many people are able to participate in our projects. The dedication and concern of people who want to help in some way, large or small, means that Red2Green can achieve its aims of being at the forefront as a provider of learning and opportunities for those who need it most.
There are many ways that volunteers can help, and we will always try to match the skills and interests of the volunteer to the type of support that is needed, so that volunteers also benefit and can further their own development. For example, anyone who has a clean driving licence and wants to help transport students to classes, can be trained at our expense to drive a minibus, to obtain the additional licence required.
Fulfilling the dreams of others can be highly rewarding, helping out provides motivation and even a new direction for people who want to make a difference in life. We appreciate our volunteers and look after them. If you work with us you become part of the team, are supported whenever you need it and can have the chance to have your say in the running of the charity. We offer a generous mileage allowance and the opportunity for accreditation in a range of skills.
Your time is all you have to lose and that can be as much or as little as you like, when you like.
Sparing some time for others can make all the difference to someone else's life. If you want to
