Health for Life is the oldest of Red2Green's services. The service supports people who have become isolated, often through mental health problems, to get out to social events locally.

Generally, clients are refered by professionals. The service is available in East Cambridgeshire and the south eastern part of South Cambridgeshire.

Staff and volunteers support clients to join local activities that appeal to them and clients who wish to are supported to become volunteers , helping others who join us. We are able to offer volunteering and job search skills training.

One client said "with Health for Life's help I was soon feeling much better about myself and life in general. I will always be very grateful for the help and understanding I was given"

We ask clients to pay the cost of their transport and the activity which is usually a small charge.
